IMPRESSIONS

Six jeweled ovals create a filigree feeling to this rhea egg design. Lovely hand-made figure, dressed in silks and satin, is included. Egg will be shipped for cutting a few weeks prior to class. Please bring Regular Egging Tools, including Tacky glue, epoxy, sharp scissors, and paint brushes.

Friday, March 4

SCHOOL OF FISH

8:00 am – 12:00 noon
Cost: $80 Deposit: $40 by February 4

A school of fish swims on an actual piece of coral, all mounted on a special stand. Quail eggs will be pre-painted for you so you can begin turning them into fish as soon as class begins. Please bring white craft glue, and thick tacky glue (or epoxy), glue pick, and tweezers along with your Regular Egging Tools.

I’VE BEEN WORKING ON THE RAILROAD

2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Cost $100 Deposit not required, but you MUST pre-register with the teacher.

An Emu egg is designed with a new Fitted Filigree so the top of the egg can be removed. A gold plated train is mounted on a new sunburst finding, and when you wind the music box the train goes around to the tune of “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad.”

Please bring Regular Egging Tools, epoxy, and a paint brush.

“Lilly” FAIRY BLOWING FAIRY DUST

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Cost: $85 Deposit $20 by Feb. 15th

Lilly is a young fairy sitting amid spring flowers, blowing fairy dust and granting luck to all. She is a silk print on a goose egg. Outlining the print and decorating the egg are two kinds of chains which are combined for a prettier look. One side of the egg is embellished with a dangle consisting of fresh water cultured potato pearls and Swarovski crystal AB bicones. Bottom of the egg also has dangling potato pearls. Students should bring Regular Egging Tools, Five Minute epoxy, Gem-Tac glue, Dazzle Tac glue, and small straight scissors.

Bonus lesson: Learn how to make the dangles. Bring a crimping tool if you can; if you don’t have one, we can use mine.

GARDEN PIANO CONCERT

Cut ostrich egg will be presented in class

A lady sits at her grand piano on a patio surrounded by a garden. You will create this diorama in addition to decorating the beautiful swirl patterns. Pictured in blue, but you will choose your own color theme in class. Bring Regular Egging Tools including paint brushes.

PLAYFUL BEARS

10:00 am – 12:00 noon
Cost: $25 Deposit: $25 by February 21

A cut goose egg will be presented in class. Egg is cut to resemble tree full of branches with side windows for the house. We will create a tree house with sheer material and modeling paste. Three darling bears sit inside. Please bring Regular Egging Tools.
